With just over 100 days until Sydney Whisky Fair 2019 we’re excited to make our first official announcement for this year’s event.
Announced today is an all-Australian reveal of the first tables, plus a confirmation of the ticket on-sale date.
The tenth anniversary of Australia’s favourite whisky festival will be held at The Oak Barrel Friday 30 and Saturday 31 August. Last year we saw 25 stalls showcasing brands from all around the world in the form of about 150 expressions.
This year we expect the number of stalls, which are issued via invite by Whisky Fair organisers, to top 30. Brands confirmed to exhibit will be announced as they are confirmed, with the exact drams which will be on pour made available before doors open. This will ensure that you can plan your day in advance, making sure you don’t miss anything you need to try.
There’s going to be too many drams for you to try everything, so we’re going to give you as much information as possible to get the most out of the day.
Sydney Whisky Fair’s focus is once again the rare, unique and new. Every table will have something we didn’t try last year, in some cases everything is completely new.
With much more to be confirmed from here and around the world, our first announcement of five exhibitors features distillers and owners from around Australia.
